There are three different power interfaces, namely PQ quadlock, ISO plug and MQB quadlock. See the diagram below:
We have two types of adapted power cables, A and B.
We default to provide cable A for the car with PQ quadlock.
- If your car is ISO Plug, you need the B adapter. Please buy the adapter :[TP6410-B]
Attention:
1. If your car with MQB Quadlock but not a POLO 6C car, you can plug the radio with your original cable. Does not need adapter.
2. If your car POLO 6C with MQB Quadlock, this radio doesn't fit your car. Please choose the radio special for POLO 6C. [vwa6437]
3.If your car is produced before 2009 and have a 8 buttons steering wheel, you need an adaper to avoid battery leakage. [YX2219]
Leakage problem:
1.If your car was manufactured before 2010, you may need to purchase a special adapter to solve the battery leakage problems. If you have the problem, we will recommend the appropriate adapter to you.
2.You can also solve the leakage problem by upgrading the gateway. For the gateway installation, it is necessary to use VCDS (VAG-COM Diagnostic System) to encode.
